He had studied computers and information technology at a local community college. However, he had recently married and needed to work in order to better support his family.
While participating in the Latino employment program at WCIL and in job development services, he experienced a positive response from employers who encouraged him to complete the application process with their companies. He was enthusiastic about the job offers and the feedback he received from employers. He accepted the computer-related position, as he is highly interested in the information technology field.
He is currently employed and is learning new skills and gaining valuable work experience in his desired career field. His future goals include definite plans to complete his A.A. Degree to ensure his advancement in the computer industry. |
