In Cleveland, Ohio, the Cuyahoga County Board
of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities offers supports
and services to all eligible individuals.
Established in 1967, the Cuyahoga County
Board of Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities supports
more than 7,000 boys and girls and men and women in finding a better
place in life. As an integral member of the community, our mission
is to assist individuals with mental retardation and other developmental
disabilities in choosing and achieving a life of increasing capability
so they can live, learn, work and play in the community and to assist
and support their families in achieving this objective.
The CCBMRDD has a Job Hotline 216-736-4503,
available 24 hours, seven days a week, and is updated every Wednesday.
