Mobility International USA Offering Summer Exchange Program on Disability in England

Citizens of the United States between the ages of 18 and 24 are invited to apply to participate in a MIUSA cross-disability summer exchange program in England. This program is tentatively scheduled for June 20 to July 7, 2002.

The purpose of this program is to allow participants to strengthen cross-cultural ties, explore disability arts, and develop leadership skills through excursions and workshops on disability rights and leadership in an international context.

People with and without disabilities from diverse cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply by the April 15 deadline. The cost of the program is $750 and includes airfare from the orientation city, home stays, lodging, and meals.

articipants must pay for transportation to the orientation city, to be announced later. Partial scholarships are available.
